Emmy Update: Categories by Show

The Television Academy today announced the awards categories to be presented during the 74th Emmy Awards and the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremonies.

The 74th Emmy Awards will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater on Monday, Sept. 12 (8:00-11:00 PM, live EDT/5:00-8:00 PM, live PDT) on NBC and will stream live for the first time on Peacock.

The 2022 Creative Arts Emmys will take place at the Microsoft Theater on two consecutive nights on Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4. An edited presentation will be aired on Saturday, Sept. 10, (8:00 PM EDT/PDT) on FXX.
