Judge the Children's & Family Emmy Awards

Become a judge for the 3rd Annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards!

Judging for the third annual Children's & Family Emmys is scheduled to take place from October 2 – November 10! All members of the Television Academy are automatically qualified to judge!

SIGN UP NOW THROUGH OCTOBER 15!

Preliminary Judging narrows down the contenders in certain highly-entered categories, and then the Blue Ribbon Judging round determines the nominees and winners IN THE SAME ROUND OF JUDGING. THERE IS NO SEPARATE JUDGING ROUND TO DETERMINE WINNERS AND THERE IS NO FYC PERIOD.

You can sign up at our Orthicon site at enter.theemmys.tv.

If you have previously signed up as a Daytime or CAFÉ submitter or judge, YOUR SAME LOGIN WORKS but you need to re-affirm your intent to judge CAFÉ by still following the instructions below. If you are a member of the Television Academy who has not participated in the Daytime Emmys or Children's Emmys before, you must sign up for our Orthicon system. This site is in no way tied to the Television Academy membership site.

Once you are in the Orthicon system, on your Profile page, you need to toggle YES for "I want to judge," choose which round (or both!) based on your availability, and then fill out the Judging Qualifications in its entirety!

BOTH PARTS ARE REQUIRED - TOGGLING "YES" and FILLING OUT THE JUDGING QUALIFICATIONS!!!

We MUST have your IMDb link, Academy membership, Peer Group, expertise, and conflicts in order to be able to approve you as a Judge and place you on the most appropriate categories.

Please be aware - Judges are usually placed on 2-3 categories per round and must WATCH ALL OF THE SUBMITTED MATERIAL within their assigned categories. We anticipate about 10 hours of material per round if you watch each entry to completion.

We look forward to having you as a Judge for the 3rd Annual Children's & Family Emmys!
