Audio Description is an art form, a very specific acting skill that furthers inclusion by bringing content to life for blind audiences while benefiting all television productions and genres.
It has become an art form that has created the opportunity for outreach to 32 million blind and low-vision adult Americans. And, it's another avenue for professional industry talents, including disabled performers, to work in the industry.
The Television Academy now recognizes audio description narrators' television credits as qualification for active membership! Please join us to learn what this means to the Performers Peer Group, as well as other Television Academy members, from professionals in this burgeoning field.
