Tony Mordente was known for directing dozens of episodes of popular television shows. He served as the director for shows including 7th Heaven, Goodtime Girls, Busting Loose, Hardcastle and McCormick, Easy Street, Rhoda and Walker, Texas Ranger. Along with series, he directed television specials including The New Lorenzo Music Show and That Second Thing on ABC.

Mordente got his start in broadway productions as a dancer in the original West Side Story and went on to choreograph routines for series including The Jim Nabors Hour, That's Life, Maude and The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour. Mordente also served as a choreographer for television specials including The 27th Annual Tony Awards and Goin' Back to Indiana.
