Richard Venture was an American actor.

A prolific television actor, Venture appeared in episodes of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, Barney Miller, The Rockford Files, Kojak, One Day at a Time, Starsky and Hutch, The Waltons, Fame, Family Ties, Newhart, Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, Seinfeld, and had recurring roles on Law & Order, Falcon Crest, and The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd.

Venture appeared in more than eighty films, three of which were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: All the President's Men (1976), Missing (1982) and Scent of a Woman (1992).

Venture died December 19, 2017, in Chester, Connecticut. He was 94.
