Richard McMillan was a Canadian actor best known for his work on Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain, Roland Emmerich's The Day After Tomorrow and David Cronenberg's M Butterfly.

McMillan also appeared on the television series Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Goosebumps, Animorphs, Traders, The Wonderful World of Disney, Queer as Folk and Murdoch Mysteries.

His stage work in Canada included roles as Scar from The Lion King, Saruman from The Lord of the Rings and Uncle Arthur from War Horse.

McMillan died February 19, 2017, in Toronto, Canada. He was 66.
