Reynaldo Rey
Reynaldo Rey was a film and television actor best known for his appearances in such movies as Harlem Nights and Friday and such TV series as 227, Sister, Sister and The Bernie Mac Show.
Born Harry Reynolds in Oklahoma in 1940, he graduated with a degree in education from Kansas Teacher's College, after which he taught in Cleveland, Ohio, where he joined the renowned Karamu House Theatre. In addition to performing on the stage, he began working as a stand-up comedian and toured the country with such popular musical acts as the O'Jays and others. He eventually moved to New York City, where he joined the Harlem Theatre Group and began scoring small parts in movies and television programs.
In addition to Harlem Nights and Friday, his feature film credits included A Rage in Harlem, White Men Can't Jump, Play it to the Bone, Fakin' Da Funk and First Sunday.

Rey died on May 28, 2015, in Los Angeles. He was 75.
