Neil Patrick Harris has earned four consecutive Primetime Emmy nominations for his work as 'Barney Stinson' on long-running comedy How I Met Your Mother, among other prestigious honors.

The multifaceted entertainer has drawn broad accolades for his turns as host of the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2009 and 2013, and host of several Tony® Awards galas. Harris also served as a producer of 2013's 65th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Harris first emerged on screen with Whoopi Goldberg in Clara's Heart, and at just 16 years old, landed the series title role of Steven Bochco’s Doogie Howser, M.D.

Along with numerous television appearances on such series as Will & Grace and Glee, he may also be seen online in the popular web series Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog.

Harris is set to star in David Fincher's 2014 big screen release Gone Girl, along with Ben Affleck. He also appears in feature film A Million Ways to Die in the West, as well as fan favorites Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

The Broadway stage veteran has also performed in such theatre productions as Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Assassins and Cabaret, among other plays.
