Best known for his horror classic The Descent, which he wrote and directed, Neil Marshall most recently shot the pilot of Warner Brothers’ Constantine for NBC.
His additional television credits include the renowned Game of Thrones episode “Blackwater” as well as this season’s penultimate episode “The Watchers on the Wall”, which has been called the series’ “most cinematic episode yet” by The Hollywood Reporter and is, according to The Daily Beast’s Andrew Romano, “the best hour of action filmmaking so far this year” and “the show’s most sophisticated and stunning action episode yet."
