On FX's Sons of Anarchy, Maggie Siff's 'Tara Knowles' is a pediatrics doctor and Jax's high school sweetheart. She's the only woman Jax has ever loved. She left Charming to get more out of life, but now, she's back.

Siff was a series regular the first season of Mad Men, 2008 Golden Globe® best drama. She also appeared on nip/tuck, Grey's Anatomy and Law & Order.

In 2009, Siff shot her first major film role; Paul McGuigan's PUSH with Djimon Hounsou.

Off Broadway, Siff has appeared in Richard Nelson's Frank's Home (Playwrights Horizons) and Ruby Sunrise (New York Shakespeare Festival). Siff received a Jefferson Award nomination for her performance in Dollhouse at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago. Siff has also worked frequently in Philadelphia, where she won the Barrymore Award for Ghosts.

Siff graduated with an M.F.A. from NYU's Tisch School and B.A. from Bryn Mawr.
