Jan Merlin
Jan Merlin was an American character actor and writer.
Merlin is best known for specializing in villainous roles, mostly in television, appearing in: The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, Bonanza, Rawhide, The Virginian, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Gunsmoke, The Time Tunnel, Ironside, The F.B.I., Little House on the Prairie, Baretta, The A-Team, Dallas, and Paradise.
He also had recurring roles in several other television series including Tom Corbett, Space Cadet, The Rough Riders, Laramie, and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

Merlin won a Daytime Emmy as a writer for Another World in 1975, and was nominated again in 1979 for that show.
Merlin died September 20th, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. He was 94.
