Jack Shea was a director, writer and producer who worked on many popular telelvision productions. He directed series including Silver Spoons, The Jeffersons, The Ropers, Sanford and Son, Death Valley Days and The Bob Hope Show. In addition to series, he directed television specials including The Jerry Lewis Show and A Bob Hope Comedy Special.

His wife Patt Shea and his daughter Shawn Shea were both television industry professionals.
