Jac Venza was an Emmy-winning producer, who took home 10 Primetime Emmy awards out of 54 nominations during his career. He was best known for executive producing television series including Great Performances, Great Performances: Dance in America, American Playhouse, The Adams Chronicles, NET Playhouse and American Masters. He served as executive producer on television specials including The 53rd Annual Tony Awards, Variety and Virtuosity: American Ballet Theatre Now, Broadway at the Hollywood Bowl and Musical Comedy Tonight III. Venza produced movies including "Big Blonde," "Happy Days," "A Life in the Theatre," "Tartuffe" and "A Touch of the Poet."
