Grant Tinker
Grant Tinker was a television executive, producer and co-founder of the Television Academy Foundation's Archive of American Television.
Tinker began his career in television in 1949 as an intern at NBC. He is perhaps best remembered for his work at MTM Enterprises, the successful production company he co-founded in 1970 with his then-wife, Mary Tyler Moore.
MTM was responsible for the critically acclaimed programs The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, Lou Grant, Rhoda, Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere.
