G. Gordon Liddy was an American lawyer, talk show host, and actor.

He was most widely known for his role as an operative figure in the Watergate scandal during the Nixon administration and for his recurring role as Jacob Calder in 46 episodes of the television series 18 Wheels of Justice.

A graduate of Fordham University, Liddy served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war before attending Law School and eventually joining the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

He got his acting start in a 1986 episode of the series Air Wolf and would guest star in a number of other programs including Miami Vice, The Highwayman, Perry Mason, MacGyver, Super Force, and Street Asylum.

Liddy also hosted a highly successful syndicated talk radio show and appeared on several game shows and reality competitions such as Super Password, Fear Factor, and WrestleMania 2.

Liddy died March 30, 2021, in Mount Vernon, Virginia. He was 90.
