Bob Tischler was an Emmy-nominated producer and screenwriter who worked on popular television series and specials. He produced and wrote episodes of shows including Saturday Night Live, Boy Meets World, Something So Right, The Pursuit of Happiness, Empty Nest and The People Next Door. Other shows he produced episodes of include Carol & Company, My Talk Show and Nightlife, as well as the television special, What's Alan Watching?
