Biff McGuire was an American actor.

He is perhaps best known for his role as Captain McClain in the film Serpico (1973), opposite Al Pacino.

McGuire studied agricultural engineering at the University of Massachusetts before enlisting in the U.S. Army during World War II. He became interested in the performing arts while attending the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom at Shrivenham.

He would go on to have a six-decade long career, during which he had recurring roles in television series such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, All My Children, Young Dr. Kildare, The Gunsmoke, Law and Order, Gibbsville, How the West was Won, The Paper Chase, Search for Tomorrow, and Santa Barbara.

McGuire's many other television appearances include Diagnosis: Unknown, The Witness, The Defenders, Rookies, Matt Helm, Kojak, Barnady Jones, Starsky and Hutch, Family, Hawaii Five-O, Police Story, Cybill, Judging Amy, ER, JAG, and Frasier.

On the big screen, he appeared in The Phenix City Story (1955), The Thomas Crown Affair (1968), The Heart is a Lonely Hunter (1968), Paradise Lost (1971), Midway (1976), and The Last Word (1979).

McGuire died April 1, 2021, in Seattle, Washington. He was 94.
