Bettina Gilois was a German-born screenwriter, author, and producer.

A graduate of Barnard College of Columbia University with a degree in art history, Gilois worked at Andy Warhol's Factory on the television series Andy Warhol's Fifteen Minutes before kicking off her career in screenwriting with Joel Silver at Warner Bros.

She contributed to the penning of The Hurricane (1999) and The Mists of Avalon (2001), and wrote Glory Road (2006), McFarland, USA (2015), and The Lost Wife of Robert Durst (2017).

Gilois died July 5, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. She was 58.
