Barbara Chase began her career at the Television Academy over 20 years ago. She began as a temporary employee in the Awards Department and went on to run the administration of the Daytime Emmy Awards for seven years working closely with the New York-based National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Following this stint, Ms. Chase was promoted to oversee the Television Academy's Membership Department and its base of 10,000 members which grew to over 15,000 by the time she left that position in 2007.

Presently, Ms. Chase is the Executive Producer of Special Events which includes Peer Group and Diversity Events as well as the Television Academy Hall of Fame and the Television Academy Honors presentations. She also produces the wildly successful Networking Night Out mixer series for members only.
She is very happy to have been able to spend time volunteering at Children's Hospital with one of her dogs as part of their Dog Therapy Program.
