A.C. Lyles was a publicist and producer who began working at Paramount Studios in his teens and remained with the company into his nineties.
Lyles began in the publicity department and later became a producer with credits in feature films as well as television.
He eventually became the longest-serving employee in the studio's history and was often referred to as "Mr. Paramount."

His feature film credits included The Mountain (1954), Short Cut to Hell (1957), The Young and the Brave (1963) and Night of the Lepus (1972). His television credits included Rawhide, Here’s Boomer and Deadwood.
Lyles died September 27, 2013, at age 95.
