Colfer has also appeared as the voice of "Drama Dog #2" in Marmaduke, guest starred on The Cleveland Show, played "Carson Phillips" in Struck by Lightening, and as "Tony Chase" on an episode of Hot in Cleveland.
Beyond acting, Colfer signed a two-book deal with Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. His first, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Well was released in July 2012. Following the success of his debut novel, he went on to release The Land of Stories: The Enchantress in August 2013 and his contract was extended to include a third novel, The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning, which released in July 2014. Colfer has also written scripts for a Disney Channel pilot and for the movie Struck by Lightning.
