Johnny Crawford was an American actor.
He is best remembered for his role as Mark McCain, son to Chuck Connors' Lucas McCain, on the ABC series The Rifleman.
Crawford was also one of the 24 original Mouseketeers on the first season of the show before guest starring in series such as The Lone Ranger, The Millionaire, The Loretta Young Show, Have Gun – Will Travel, Whirlybirds, Matinee Theatre, and The Restless Gun.

After The Rifleman ended, Crawford appeared in Mister Ed, Rawhide, Hawaii Five-O, Little House on the Prairie, Murder, She Wrote, had a recurring role in William Tell, and landed a number of roles on the big screen, notably working opposite John Wayne in El Dorado (1967),
He also had a recording contract with Del-Fi Records, generating four Billboard Top 40 hits and would later front the Johnny Crawford Orchestra.
In 1959, at the age of 13, he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Dramatic Series for his work in The Rifleman.
Crawford died April 29, 2021. He was 75.
