Charles Robinson was an American stage, film, and television actor.

He is best known for his role on the NBC sitcom Night Court as Macintosh "Mac" Robinson (Seasons 2–9), the clerk of the court and a Vietnam War veteran.

With a career that spanned more than 50 years on both the small screen and stage,  Robinson, a member of The Actors Studio, also appeared on TV on Love & War, Buffalo Bill, Home Improvement, Mom, Hart of Dixie, NCIS, and The Guestbook and in such films as The River, The House Bunny, Set It Off, Antwone Fisher, Jackson, and Even Money.
