Zitto Kazann was an Argentinian-born actor.

He is perhaps best known for his work in the films Red Dawn (1984) and Waterworld (1995) and for his role as Silan Hodak on the soap opera Days of Our Lives.

A student at Otto Krause University in Buenos Aires, Kazann played professional basketball for the Argentina national league while performing in theatrical productions.

He went on to land recurring roles in the television series Ironside, Hell Town, and Melrose Place and guest starred in a number of programs including Kojak, S.W.A.T., M*A*S*H, Emergency!, The Six Million Dollar Man, Lou Grant, CHiPs, Knight Rider, Hill Street Blues, Angel, The X-Files, Arrested Development, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

On the big screen, he appeared in Ghost Town (1988), Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993), Price of Glory (2000), Thirteen Days (2000), and Criminal (2004).

Kazann died February 5, 2021, in Los Angeles, California. He was 90.
