His first directing efforts were on BBC’s EastEnders and he would go on to direct episodes of Spooks, Growing Pains, The Bill, The Vet, Inspector Morse, Kavanagh QC, Afterlife, Close to Home, MI-5, Smallville, Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles, The Vampire Diaries, Alcatraz, Person of Interest, and Fringe.
Beeson was also a director and supervising producer on Revolution and an executive producer on The Whispers, Containment, Timeless, and The Enemy Within.
Beeson died April 26, 2021. He was 63.
