Marty Brill
Marty Brill was an American comedian, writer, musician, and actor.
The former child prodigy played piano concerts in Chicago before serving as a Japanese interpreter for U.S. Naval Intelligence during the Korean War.
His Hollywood career began in the 1960s and for two decades Brill would appear regularly on several variety shows, including The Ed Sullivan Show, The Merv Griffin Show, The Dick Cavett Show, Hollywood Squares, The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, and Captain Kangaroo.

Brill also had a recurring role on The New Dick Van Dyke Show, appearing in 48 episodes, and guest starred in a number of other series including The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Love, American Style, All in the Family, Three's Company, Simon & Simon, and Too Close for Comfort.
He also appeared on the big screen in Angel, Angel, Down We Go (1969), The Pope of Greenwich Village (1984), Basic Training (1985), and he voiced King Koo Koo in the animated feature Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure (1977).
Brill died January 21, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was 88.
