She made her film debut in the 1958 release Daddy-O, in which she appeared with actor-saxophonist Dick Contino. In It Happened at the World's Fair, she appeared opposite Elvis Presley. Her other movies included The Matchmaker, A Lust to Kill, Lost, Lonely and Vicious, Black Spurs, Flareup and Black Gunn.
In addition, she had guest roles in such TV series as Bachelor Father, Peter Gunn, Rawhide, Burke's Law, Quincy M.E., Columbo, Land of the Giants, Adam-12 and The Odd Couple.
Giles died on December 25, 2016, in Los Angeles. She was 84.
