Frank Marth
Frank Marth was an actor whose television career began in the early days of the medium and included roles on dozens of series, including several collaborations with Jackie Gleason.
The New York City native got his start on the stage and made his first television appearance in 1949 with a role in the family comedy Mama. He first worked with Gleason on the 1951 variety show Cavalcade of Stars, followed later by The Jackie Gleason Show, The Honeymooners and Jackie Gleason: American Scene Magazine.

His TV credits in the years that followed included The Phil SIlvers Show, Car 54, Where Are You?, The Patty Duke Show, My Favorite Martian, Perry Mason, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Fugitive, Combat!, The Wild Wild West, The Big Valley, Bonanza, Hawaii Five-O, Hogan's Heroes, The FBI, Mannix, Ironside, M*A*S*H, Cannon, Lou Grant, Hart to Hart, Vega$, Quincy, M.E., Dallas, The A-Team,The Young and the Restless and many others.
Marth also appeared in such telefilms as The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case as well as miniseries, including Washington: Behind Closed Doors.
His feature films included Madame X, Madigan, Marooned and Telefon.
Marth died January 12, 2014, in Rancho Mirage, California. He was 91.
