Tim Brooke-Taylor was a British comedian, writer, and actor.

He began performing in comedy sketches while at the University of Cambridge, becoming more widely known to the public for his work on BBC Radio with I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again.

Brooke-Taylor moved into television as a writer and performer with At Last the 1948 Show, reuniting with Cambridge alumni John Cleese and Graham Chapman.

Perhaps best known as a member of the classic sketch trio The Goodies, he was also a panelist on the long-running U.K. game show I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue and appeared as an actor in various sitcoms including His and Hers, The Rough with the Smooth, You Must Be the Husband, Me and My Girl, Heartbeat, and Doctors.

Brooke-Taylor died April 12, 2020, in Cookham, Berkshire, England.  He was 79.
