Peg Murray was an American actress of the stage and screen.
She is perhaps best known for her Tony Award-winning portrayal of Fräulein Kost in 1967's Cabaret and for her 13-year-recurring television role on the daytime soap opera All My Children.
A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Murray first appeared on Broadway in 1956 in The Great Sebastians. She joined Ethel Merman on stage in Gypsy (1959), before landing a small role in the film The Detective (1968), followed by parts in W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings (1975), Some of My Best Friends Are... (1971), and Bright Lights, Big City (1988).
Murray also had recurring roles in the television series The Doctors and the Nurses, Love of Life, Me & Mrs. C., and Loving while making guest starring appearances in Omnibus, Naked City, Coronet Blue, and Another World.
Murray died November 29, 2020, in Greenport, Suffolk County, New York. She was 96.
