Mimi Lesseos is known worldwide by her fighting name, "Magnificent Mimi," and is one of the top female Grapplers/Wrestlers in the world and had the honor of training and wrestling Jim Carrey in Man On the Moon.
Mimi is also a champion martial artist, stuntwoman and actress. In Million Dollar Baby, Mimi dons her boxing gloves, in Gangs of New York she wields weapons and swords (Daniel Day Lewis' character axes her in the forehead in the opening scene) and is featured street fighting in The Scorpion King.
Lesseos has her own production company, Stepping Out Films, where she has written, produced, starred in and directed six of her own feature films. She recently completed the sixth feature, Double Duty. It is a charming romantic, action-packed comedy, which also stars Tom Sizemore.
In Mimi's 'spare time,' this single parent of 10 year-old twins has enjoyed guest appearances on Passions, Lifetime's What Should You Do?, HBO's Path To War, The Shield, Malcolm in the Middle, and more.
