Johnny Harris was Scottish-born composer and musical arranger.

A student of music at the Guildhall in London, Harris went on to become musical director for the likes of Michael Jackson, Tom Jones, Petula Clark, Liza Minnelli, Nancy Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Lynda Carter, for whom he also scored the third season of her television series, Wonder Woman.

He arranged and composed music for a number of other television shows including Happening for Lulu, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, The Powers of Matthew Star, Partners in Crime, and Downtown, and he served as musical editor on Heart of the City.

Harris also composed music for films such as The Fragment of Fear (1970), The Hero (1970), Man in the Wilderness (1971), The Evil (1978), Courage (1984), and over a dozen TV movies.

Harris died March 20, 2020, in Palm Springs, California. He was 87.
