Jean Marsh was the co-creator of the series Upstairs Downstairs in which she was known for her Primetime Emmy Award-winning role of “Rose Buck.” Marsh reprised the role as part of a 3-part revival of Upstairs Downstairs - part of BBC TV’s 2010 Christmas schedule.

Her career highlights included appearances in The Twilight Zone, The Wonderful World of Disney, Gideon’s Way, The Saint and UFO. Marsh starred as “Queen Bavmorda” in Willow, “Joanna Russell” in The Changeling, “Rosie Tindall” in No Strings, and made several appearances on Doctor Who.
