Henry Ian Cusick is a Peruvian-Scottish actor, writer, director, and producer.
He is known for his role as Desmond Hume on the U.S. television series Lost, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. He also starred in the ABC drama Scandal as Stephen Finch, as Marcus Kane in The CW drama The 100, as Dr. Jonas Lear in the FOX drama The Passage, and as Russ Taylor in the CBS drama MacGyver.

Cusick attended The Royal Academy of Music and Drama (now called The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland). After appearing in recurring roles in television series such as Casualty and The Book Group, he starred as Jesus Christ in the 2003 film The Visual Bible: The Gospel of John. Originally a recurring guest star in the second season of Lost, Cusick became a member of the main cast from seasons three to six. He also directed two episodes of The 100.
He is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
Cusick directed a short film dress winning the best short at HIFF and Peace on Earth Film Festival. He also has a production company, Henry Joe Productions.
