Dyanne Thorne was an American actress.
Thorne studied anthropology at UCLA, earning a Ph.D. in Comparative Religions, before beginning her acting career on the stage. As a comedic sketch artist, she appeared on variety shows such as The Tonight Show, The Steve Allen Show, and The Merv Griffin Show.
She is perhaps best known for her work as the main character in a series of films: Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS (1975), Ilsa: Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks (1976), and Ilsa the Tigress of Siberia (1977).
She appeared in a number of other films including House of the Witchdoctor (2013), House of Forbidden Secrets (2013), Aria (1987), Hellhole (1985), Wanda, the Wicked Warden (1977), Lollipop Palace (1976), Wam Bam Thank You Spaceman (1975), Blood Sabbath (1972), and Point of Terror (1971).
Thorne also guest starred in the television series The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo, Felony Squad, and Star Trek.
Thorne died January 28, 2020, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was 83.
