Christie Lyn Lugo Leigh is a motivated television executive with more than three decades of experience in live television production. She currently serves as Executive Producer and Production Manager at KTLA, Channel 5, in Hollywood.
Lugo Leigh has produced many live special events and sports telecasts, including Los Angeles Kings Hockey, Clippers Basketball, Los Angeles Dodgers Baseball, California Angels Baseball, pre-season football and numerous additional sports projects. She has lent her expertise to countless Red Carpet events and specials, such as Live from the Grove, The Hollywood Christmas Parade and KTLA's award-winning Rose Parade.
Throughout her career, Lugo Leigh has received 36 Emmy nominations and has garnered 10 of the coveted awards. She is also the recipient of 8 MDA Broadcast Journalism Gold Awards, 5 Telly Awards and a Los Angeles Press Club Journalism Award.
Lugo Leigh currently serves as Executive Producer on KTLA's Rose Parade Franchise: Rose Parade Uncovered, Backstage at the Parade, Parade Countdown and the internationally-syndicated Rose Parade presented by Honda. She also manages 200 union and non-union employees, oversees KTLA's production facilities for all KTLA on-air television and is co-lead on all lease and strategic station planning.
