Sekou Smith was an American sportswriter and analyst.

A graduate of Jackson State in Mississippi, Smith began his career as a beat writer covering the NBA's Indiana Pacers for the Indianapolis Star and then the Atlanta Hawks for the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

He would go on to become a fixture in the NBA, joining Turner Sports in 2009 and covering all of its platforms for more than a decade: he served as an analyst for NBA TV, a writer for NBA.com, and host of the Hang Time Podcast.
