He also is known for his portrayal of “Prime Minister Tony Blair” in the HBO film The Special Relationship. Sheen originated the role in Peter Morgan’s The Deal in 2003 and reprised the role in The Queen in 2006 with Helen Mirren.

After nearly a decade performing on London stages, Sheen broke through in the U.S. in the 1999 Broadway redux of Amadeus. Sheen’s film credits include the Twilight films with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, Frost/Nixon with Frank Langella, Tron: Legacy with Jeff Bridges, Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, Admission, where he starred opposite Tina Fey, and the role of "Chet Halner" in The Spoils of Babylon. He also served as the voice of the “White Rabbit” in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland
