Ever-the-performer, Marrissa enjoyed acting in film and television, musical comedies and singing as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Her one-woman cabaret act sold out houses throughout Los Angeles and she was particularly proud of her voice-over scream being featured to frighten "JAWS 3-D" audiences as well as serving as a stand-in for Miss Piggy at the Golden Globes.
Marrissa served as the Director of Education for the Los Angeles Children's Museum, got her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and ultimately launched her own talent management and production company, Wackiland Productions, which had a first look deal with a division of Paramount.
Her company's tagline was her personal mantra: "Better living through giggles," which she lived every day of her life. Her company logo was a sweet, playful teddy bear, which is how many of her friends and clients knew her.
