Lola Albright was an actress best known for starring as Edie Hart on TV’s Peter Gunn, and for appearing in the Kirk Douglas film Champion.

Albright received an Emmy Award nomination in 1959 for her work for her work as the sultry singer on Gunn.

The actress also appeared on the series Gunsmoke, The Red Skelton Hour, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, My Three Sons, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Dr. Kildare, Wagon Train, Burke’s Law, Rawhide, Peyton Place, Bonanza, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Kojak, Police Story, McMillan & Wife, Starsky & Hutch, Columbo, The Incredible Hulk, and Quincy M.E.

Additionally, Albright had roles in the films A Cold Night in August, Lord Love a Duck, Tulsa, The Good Humor Man, The Killer that Stalked New York, The Tender Trap, The Impossible Years, Kid Galahad, Joy House, The Way West, and Where Were You When the Lights Went Out.
